It's just hard to talk about X-Plane without mentioning MSFS. too forgiving?īut, this isn't an MSFS review.
Not sure how to describe it - it's just maybe too game-like.
MSFS 'can' be tuned to approach the realism in X-Plane, but even then is just a little bit off. If you want an accurate simulation, X-Plane is the clear choice. But, X-Plane is just much closer to real flight, in terms of the flight model and aircraft handling. And, MSFS is much more 'playable' as a game. The graphics quality of MSFS and accuracy of the terrain are unquestionably superior.
Of course, the obvious comparison is between X-Plane and MS Flight Simulator.
